How many of you'll code

I have observed a huge co relation between chess and coding among me and my friends. Somehow these are common traits. Do any of you'll have these skills.

1. Play Chess
2.Code
3. Solve the Rubiks Cube/ Or other cubes.
4. Love coffee (though hell lot of people love coffee).

Can you add more to the list.

If you replace "code" (not sure what you exactly mean) by "computer affinity" then yes to all. Alas, I can solve the cube only "layer-by-layer".

Yeah, we are all nerds loving chess, computers, science, maths, BBT. ;)

I liked coffee when I was a kid and I thought it made me look cool but honestly a bowl of hot chocolate is superior.

I guess classical music could be something else a lot of us have in common. And math/science interest.

@BearlnMind oh right forgot music. But I'm more of a mix-it-all kinda guy.

@BearlnMind your cube times are very good. Still at 30 sec here.

I play chess to take my mind off programming. If that's what you mean by 'code'. I find it clears the head of problems. The rubi-cube hasn't seen some love in a while though.

I'm not a cuber, but I am a programmer. And, like @Convenient -- I use chess to take my mind off of programming (relax, put something into the background, etc).

Opposed to cubes, I play a bit of Sudoku.

I think we could safely add playing poker to this list, as I've heard many chess players are playing or have played poker. I used to, but not anymore.

3. Rubiks cube - only in secondary school (76-80) when it appeared first in Hungary. I'm hungarian :)
4. coffee - 1/day

Music - learned to play classical guitar.
Science, maths - started univ as physicist, finished as mathematician.

Btw. what about martial arts? I myself +3 of my chess and maths friends also practicing martial arts :)
