Computer Running Out of Charge

My computer runs out of charge quickly, and does so when playing a game, however in this case it told me that I had abandoned the game, even after I had come back after placing it on charge and logging in to the game, it made me lose and told me I had abandoned the game. I was just about to make a pin on the queen and king that would give me an advantage, too, however I lost 14 rating points due to this. Perhaps this could be fixed in the future, because I may have been able to win 14 points.

@IrfanXV15 , mostly u had left the game, so the oppenent was declared the winner. its completely your mistake.

this the game i think , lichess gives u few seconds to rejoin the game if much time is left on the clock, u have just exceeded that time.

Lichess should fix your computer battery?!

Hi there. Players are responsible for their own connection. Lichess has no way to verify whether you intend to return to the game or not. So they assume you are not coming back, since most people don't. So they forfeit the game.

No, I was asking if it were to be possible that if a computer were to lose charge, perhaps the game should not be abandoned, but the player allowed time to return to the game before they lose. It took me about 10 seconds to return to the game, but I was declared to have lost by then.
