It's been years since this team has been somewhat active. Years since I felt that bughouse players were working toward a common goal, and years since bughouse seemed to be gaining traction. But that's all about to change. I haven't forgotten about bughouse. It's been years, but I still enjoy bughouse as much as I did back when I was bitten by the "bug" in 2016.
It's time for change. It's time for bughouse to get the recognition it deserves. It sounds like I'm running for bughouse office, and I am. I will be organizing a series of bughouse tournaments all around the world, the first of which will be the Lebanese Bughouse Championship - Qualification stage. The top board will be streamed live on my channel (twitch.tv/Truthdoctor) on Sunday, June 26, 10:00 UTC–15:00 UTC.
In the spring of 2023, I hope to organize a large bughouse gathering in Europe à la Berlin bughouse gathering. Before that, I will endeavor to drive a surge in bughouse's popularity. I hope that all bughouse enthusiasts in this team can help me make bughouse more popular, and I hope that we will one day see bughouse on Lichess.
