Why don't we see rating changes in tournaments anymore ?

If it is purely based on UI appearance then I hope it might be possible to let users decide as I always like this feature. Other reasons regarding performance etc. which go beyond an, at least for me, subjective design choice would of course make this change easier to understand.
So if you can consider making it optional it would be great!
Please bring back the tournament rating changes
I never cared about tiebreaks, it was just nice to see who was doing well and who wasn't.
Support for the tournament rating change! (It is useful to see sandbaggers)
#23 #24 The up/down indicators never indicated these things; also, the "555555555" score and the performance rating (visible after clicking on a name) indicate they're doing well.
The performance ratings are not even remotely accurate, at least at the high end, and the point score doesn't tell about the strength of opposition.

And even an accurate performance wouldn't tell what rating the player started at - if a 2200 performs at 2400, that's a great tournament; if a 2600 does the same without berserking, it's a terrible tournament. Both players are likely to end up being rated about 2400 in a long tournament.
This removal has been bothering me a lot too! It's a good point that performance is a better metric than rating change, but I still like to see how my own rating and others' change throughout the tournament. Please bring it back, at least as an option.
I see a lot of opinions, but I do not understand who decided to remove it, who can put it back and if any of those persons read this thread.

Someone knowns it?
While I feel the improvements in lichess have been numerous and I would like to really thank the site developers, I would also like to point out that I do not reckon this specific change was beneficial - as mentioned above by other users, seeing our own rating change during a tournament was a great Push factor to perform better, which is now gone.
