Open up bishop diagonals
Develop horses first
Castle to safer places
Don't take the queen out early
Watch out for positions where the queen and bishops share a Diagonal

exactly u should develop knights first bishops next

bishops can be very strong in chess960

I think if you are good in normal chess then you'll automatically become good at 960 because it's just like normal chess but with new positions each game.
