Should you be nice to rude people?

Respond the way they are responding you because if you tolerate or ignore them then there is a chance that they will cross their limits and after that it will hurt you more ... So be good when they are good and be rude when they are rude ... Simple xd :)
i print their hateful messages out onto 3"x5" 3-ply paper and wipe my ass with them
Pro: "Fighting hate with hate is like fighting fire with fire"

News flash..ever heard of back-burning as a method of fighting a bushfire???
It works.
I note that in a thread inviting opinions the OP down voted the very first response...that's just plain rude.
@clousems

As there has not been a single fascist government till today without murder, rape, theft and inprisonment for saying freely what you think it is fascinating, that people buy the propaganda of a political ideology. If another organised crime would build a political party to legalize their crimes, would you call this an ideology? If yes, then fascism is an ideology first. It uses an ideology. Yes. But first it is simply a crime.

I stop here, because this is mostly off-topic. On topic is the example, that a fascist is rude by his thinking structure, even if s/he behaves formally polite.
Ahh, I think we should respond the same (depends on the situation)... I got someone on lichess who talked to me very rudely and when I responded rudely he/she blocked me I blocked him/her too.....I was feeling just very angry but I couldn't do anything....so I simply ignored it....and it's well said "dont feed up the trolls"
@clousems

1. A way to sail around the reefs of historical facts.
2. Ex ante in the 1920th and 1930th from democratic thinking people.

So we know two points from post #37
- Short can be really big (failure!).
- Latin doesn't say anything about the quality of an argument. :)
Nothing new, by the way. Si tacuisses ...
Look, all I'm saying that fascism is not, in and of itself, evil. In theory, you could have a benevolent fascist dictator who promoted friendship, love, puppies, and hugs, rather than genocide.

Fascism was the vehicle for evil actions of the regimes in the mid 1900s, not the source of these evil actions.

Hence the reference to post hoc fallacies; just because fascist governments have been evil does not make them evil.

That being said, I legitimately do believe fascism, like all forms of government that attempt to restrict the ability of markets to function under normal circumstances, to be stupid.
