I want to be able to block a person so as not only to not play with him, but also not to hear what he says. That all his messages are not displayed for me.

Actually i rarely ever got harrassed on lichess and the moderators seem very active and quick. go to
chess.com and get insulted literally every game if you play against people from certain countries :/

Nothing like this. The moderators themselves do not work at all, and when you send a request for moderation, most such requests are ignored. And even if the moderators make decisions, it's just a chat ban for 10 minutes, and then these people continue to say the same thing they said before. Insult people and foul language.
