Beta release of Listudy

Hi,

I build listudy.org/ and its at a point where I can show it to the public. Listudy is a website to use spaced repetition learning on PGNs. The site is free open source software (hence the li in listudy) so I thought lichess might be a good place to post this.

I would appreciate people checking it out and giving me feedback. You can post feedback in this thread or in the github repo github.com/ArneVogel/listudy/issues

Thanks for you help.
this is a great idea, and needs to be incorporated to lichess studies!!!

make the world greta again!
I just checked for registrations and saw some people using their emails as usernames. I added a client side validation to stop that.
Great work and thank you for making it AGPL and free to use! We'll feature your project in our next blog post about open source chess resources.
It's interesting. This is what I wanted for studies to be on lichess.org. It was suggested by someone earlier and they wanted to name it drill studies on lichess, but the concept you are creating now appears to be the same. If you could make the website similar to Chess Position Trainer (CPT) that would be awesome!

Some things I noticed and suggestions
1. Can you get rid of the arrows (green) that show the answer for the next move? Maybe you could have a feature to keep the arrows for learn mode, but I would definitely suggest that you get rid of the answer before the next move if you are going to create training mode.

2. Set how many times you want to practice the study: Sometimes you may want to repeat the moves based on if you made a mistake somewhere. Also set to repeat the line(s) X amount of times based on how many times you made a mistake in the line.

3. Show or hide comments: You may be interested in hiding the comment before you guess the move or if you are stuck you can open the comment section.

4. Enable statistics: See how well you learned the study.

Can you tell us what we can expect in terms of features in the future for your site?
Cool idea! I'm not going to post my opening studies for the public any time soon, unfortunately. There is tournament risk there until the number of studies is large enough to cloak it in anonymity. Maybe you can eventually work in private/public settings?
what an amazing idea!!! now im trying the nimzo!!!
@GoodChessMind
1. The arrows that give the answer away should go away after the right move has been done 2 times in a position and should only appear again if 2 mistakes were made afterwards. 3. Same with the comments.
Do you want to disable them before that? A disable/enable help button?
2. The move/line to practice is chosen based on which move has the lowest 'learnt' score. Do you want to repeat the move/line multiple times before moving on to other lines that have lower 'learnt' scores?
4. I will definitely do that.

As for features: I will implement a search, improve the UI and other small stuff that improves the site. What features do you think are still missing?

@DrHack
I can see the problem, but it was a conscious decision to make every study public. I like the idea of studies being public and for everybody to use and share. But I will think about it some more.

@VelociraptorRex What part of the site doesn't work for you? Unfortunately I dont have a iPad to try myself.

@ everyone Thanks for your feedback!
