It tracks you. More than half of their revenue is generated from them tracking you amd showing you "perosonalized" ads. If you're concerned (which I think more people should be), you can do the following:
1. Use DuckDuckGo
2. Use FreeTube (with invidious, for desktop) or Newpipe (for phone)
3. Use a different email provider instead of Gmail, like Proton Mail or Tutanota.
4. Switch from Chrome to more private browser like Librewolf, Ungoogled-chromuim, TOR.
5. Move over to different services from the ones google provides. E.g., do not store passwords in your browser, use KeePassXC.
