bug with the correspondence variants

i cant play any variants in the correspondence mode, is it a bug or what?

In all variants , correspondence has become casual only. You cannot play rated games.
There has been a dispute lately , because many correspondence players dominated the rankings by playing one move every day.

I still see people seeking for rated corr. variant games. Is this change for everyone? Or just people who played open ratings and got too many points? Where is this change posted?

I do find it interesting that 0/1 which is one second per move basically, is rated. I think if they are going to make sense out of having one unified rating for variants, knocking off correspondence makes less sense then allowing 0/1 wood pushing contest determine rating. A better solution is to make rated game in variants + / - 200 points of your rating. That solves both taking forever to move and moving in less than a second against any lower players.

@robotrock , you are absolutely right.
Ultrabullet and correspondence are casual in all variants , but 0+1 remains rated. This wood-pushing time limit , as you call it , must become casual as well... In Racing Kings , 0+1 is a real VIRUS , destroying the leaderboard!

@FatesWarning You are completely right. The leaderboard in racing kings is so messed up. Many players are 0+1 players, (marco66 and CHA-LA_HEAD) and many of the got there from ccorrespondence games (Appelsinskall, jyeyl and Rzenaikrzys). By the way, can someone explain me why do players still gets points from correspondence games, even if it is casual only?

They probably getting them from games started way before the update. you can have up to 99 games at once before it starts to glitch. So that will take a while to play out.

But like I said, I still see ppl seeking rated games, look at the board.

Exactly. I still see new games on the correspondence board that is rated and variant. And they are new games, they haven't been there for a while or anything. I mean I'm not complaining, I personally don't like the new update because my internet is unreliable, so rated correspondence is really the only thing I play.
