For white and if well played can it work against high level players
It says that the name is van't kruijs opening but when i went to check the basic move of Van't kruijs opening it wasn't related with the move that i played on this game
Looks like the Hippopotamus Defense but with colours inverted.
No, it won't work against a good player without significant adjustment... and then it would be called the ruy lopez.

I think You're right, i made research about it and it look like an hippopotamus desense with white instead of black
Bernd Feustel (FM) played this setting and wrote a book about it, but ok, he was a FM :-)
