Chess Buddies?

Hello,

I am fairly new to chess. I understand the basic concept of the game but I don't have anyone to practice chess with, so I can't really get better. Anyone want to play chess with me sometimes so I can at least get my feet in the water a bit with an experienced player?

I agree, another tip is to find a nearby chess club and become a member

Must be able to get a game started up around here!

You can use the pool where one sees different time controls and select anyone pf your choice and you will be paired against suitable player.
