One would think that a free site that offers such great content, should gain constantly market shares from a big competitor that is anything else then free. It was like that during the last years.
Therefore it is amazing that Alexa rankings show that during the last 3 months chess.com stayed on the same level (rank around 560 or so of all internet sites), while lichess.org lost during the last 90 days from 1300 to above 2200 rank:

No idea, whether Alexa (an amazon company) ranks are meaningful. Though it is a bit amazing.
