Takeback opinions make me quit Lichess

Grant yourself takebacks: enable move confirmation.
My feelings are:
-Blitz/bullet, no chance. Slips and mistakes are part of the game and disrupts the flow too much to even consider it. Just play another game.
-Rapid or slower I will probably consider it for a very obvious mouse slip or blunder if they ask, mostly because those games I've invested a lot of time and energy into the game and feels anticlimactic for the game to just end because they clicked E4 instead of E5 or whatever.
@LaserGuy

Generally how I do it is like this:

Bullet = No takebacks period

Casual = I'm usually pretty loose about giving a take back, gave one person like 20 of them in a game not doing that anymore so maybe I'll give 1 or 2 tops in a casual game.

Rated = No take backs unless it's on any of the following conditions and even then no guarantee

1) The move they made was very clearly a mouse slip, and there is no possible way it wasn't. This could be a move such as moving the queen 6 squares instead of 7 onto a square where it is loose instead of going the one extra square to capture my queen and trade them.

2) I feel that the move they made was the best possible move they could make (or one that annoys me). So an alternative move could give me an advantage.

3) Sometimes I'll humor a player who is already in a resignable position several moves after the fact they ask for some sort of take back not for the initial game losing blunder but from one losing position to another losing position.
I would just like to point out to the chess community that every time I've blundered my queen it was due to a mouse slip. Absolutely. All the time. I mean it's one of the biggest pieces on the board how could I deliberately put it there, undefended?? ahem...cough...

As for toxic. It's rare I'm recognised. How nice.
the reason i hate takebacks is because i used it to cheat against my engine back when i was a kid and never learnt anything because i didn't study my mistakes.
takebacks should only be allowed to teach kids when an adult is present. Also, i'm genuinly convinced takebacks hurt the mental growth of the players.
Sounds like the OP needs to grow up and get a thicker skin. Maybe be less entitled. Sickening.
This is silly. In casual games, they're fine. In rated games, they shouldn't be allowed. Yeah, it's online, but why should that mean that it shouldn't be taken any more seriously than OTB?

You want takebacks, play casual games. Simple.
