Your Music Suggestions for Chess?

@Onyx_Chess
Without getting into the theories of relativity, time seems to move slower when you're in danger. Instead of using white noise, let the position be your inspiration.
@jonesmh

You've misunderstood me.

I used to play a lot of 15 0.

After using 'white noise', I would routinely look at my clock expecting to see time trouble, and I would still have 9-12 left on my clock.

Being in danger had nothing to do with it.
The white noise had everything to do with it.

With all of that said, it might be more/less effective depending on the player's ability to concentrate/focus.
@Onyx_Chess
I didn't misunderstand. Playing white noise does make time seem to slow down, but I'm saying that time seems to slow when you're in danger, such as when falling. I'm suggesting that you sense the danger on the chessboard to "slow" time even more.
@jonesmh

I like your point about allowing the position to captivate you.

There are two entirely separate spectrums of chess.

One being flippant piece-pushing where the features of the position aren't even a side-note; and one being where each move is 'life or death' and worthy of do-or-die consideration.

As such, your idea about taking chess positions very seriously and considering the consequent positions to be of dire importance, yes, should go some of the way to "slowing down the clock". I don't see how it couldn't.

That's a great point too.
Good addition.

barroque (not classic because is too slow). For example, Vivald - four seasons. I like common rock played in gyms too.

If music is too slow I play more slow too lol! Classic music, for example, would be good for study, but for blitz/bullet I dont like...
Experimental Noise: Expansive... layer ed... unconventional... multiplied perspectives... iconoclastic... other worldly... like pin-hole photography... like Andy Wharhol... like walking backwards through the city at night... like a trip to the center of the universe and back... ( I also like Philip Glass, John Cage, Charles Mingus, Hendrix... )
I listen to purple noise in classical/rapid games. Not as high pitched as white noise and I find it to be more relaxing compared to busy white noise or the unnerving rumble of brown noise.
