I need advice if I want to win in a tournament lol
For a recent tournament I scheduled a 1 hour practice a day before the tournament. I made a list of items I have been working on. For me they included:
-do tactics exercises
-review some notes I made with my chess friends about my recent games
-I briefly considered what my first move would be with white pieces, and my first move for black pieces to respond to 1. e4 or 1. d4.
-I planned a little break from chess before the tournament starts.
