After about 20 atempts finally made it over 2150 tactics trainer :/

I really enjoy the tactics trainer here, I think its very instructive, and like the way you can do analysis after the puzzle with a very nice, clean and easy to use interface - I think now probably the best online. I try set myself goals each month to improve and see where weakness is in analyzing, I find some kill me like this one e.g. lichess.org/training/61438 but as soon as you fail it you can't believe how simple it was! - how does everyone else find it?
Found it after around 6 minutes. Nice puzzle :)
I probably can't ever pass 2150 because I can see most complex things easily but can't see opponent randomly hanging piece.
Nope. I failed it. But I tried my best and that's all we can really ask of ourselves.
I encountered same puzzle few months ago and failed it but this is probably the best puzzle I've ever seen here. Very nice and unusual tactic.
Hmm....
I was curious, did a few puzzles a year ago, not my thing, so I had a look. Solved it in <15 seconds once realized there was only 1 move to play and back rank mate or lose the Queen.
Thing is, my Training rating didn't change ! LOL
I have not done a puzzle since the 1st few days of signing on. Left puzzles open, never solved them, windows were confusing. Guess I had 18 puzzle attempts and cared less about completing them. My rating has stuck ever since. I'm really quite good at them. Like this last one posted here I solved almost instantly. It's just not my thing to spend time on. The time I do spend is on my own endgames in correspondence games, some positions are puzzle like, which I enjoy trying to solve.
I also found the puzzle relatively easy, solved in <20s.
Took me over a minute after checking all the obvious captures with the rook but what really puzzles me is how players end up in such precarious positions with their pieces to begin with.
