The top 10 of the online chess websites (according to Google). Did you know all of them? :)

Same experiment as Nh78, probably on a different browser :
chess.com, lichess, chess24 and then sites that I didn't know before (sparkchess, chessfriends, shredderchess, flyordie) and only then Chessbase's playchess. That was unexpected, and it probably shows that a google search is not the best way to do this.
The top 10 is according to the Alexa Rank, the tool which analyzes the importance of each web using very complex metrics (links, pages, users, visits...).

You can't do it searching it on google because the result changes depending on the keyword you put, the pages you have visited or the country you are...!!

If you liked it, comment it and share it! Thanks mates! :)
Google loves to collect information from you, filter your searches, decide what you find, etc. The results that you get from googling something will be different from the results that I get from googling.

Stay away from google. It's an evil company.

I have disabled this filter bubble stuff on all google sites. Yes they are probably still collecting everything but at least they dont nanny around with my searches.

Searching for 'online chess' on www.startpage.com/ (which is said to not collect any data) also gives

1) lichess
2) chess.com
3) playchess
But why have you used "online chess" instead of "chess online" or "chess" or "how to improve in chess"? :)
It depends on the keywords you use to find websites.
The unique way to do it properly is with advanced tools. I have used one of them :)
