What did you think about Firouzja's first test?

Despite 2-0 in rapid games, Firouzja played well in classic games. I am very optimistic about his evolution, I believe he will not stagnate as Wei Yi did. (ok, stagnation and 2700+ doesn't seem to match lol, but you get it ...)
Wei Yi's rise was meteoric I think it is fair to call it stagnation when many predicted he would have eclipsed magnus years ago
I see Firouzja as a future WC after maybe Ding Liren who I think could beat Magnus on a good day. A potential worry about Firouzja is that he refuses to play against israeli players (for political reasons and pressure back home in Iran). This may lead to him not being invited to tournaments and possibly being sanctioned by FIDE.
@Beshemot I don't think it's Firouzja's choice. However, he will have no confrontations with Israelis on his title journey, so I don't see much trouble with FIDE. It would be curious if the world champion (or one of the candidates) were Israeli! For example, in the time of Gelfand!
@willwss No I agree of course. He’s just a kid and does what he is told to do. And I know he won’t face any israelis but I fear that FIDE might sanction him anyway just because his behavior is unacceptable to the sport.

Having said that, I’m of course a great fan of Frouzja from the perspective of a chess fan and want to see him as the new WC eventually. And I’m no great fan of Israel either, but something tells me that this may not end well if he continues like this.
