How rude can you get??

-so i just got done playing this game against this guy, and i misclicked, and he did not let me take my move back.
- comment on how i should deal with such people as this rude guy
should i resign or just play the rest of the game? i know i won this game because obviously this guy is dumb as a box of rocks, but seriously, who is that desperate to win that they would go to such measures as this?

You misclicked, which is a part of online chess. Your opponent is not obliged to give you a takeback. If it is a big problem for you, you can make it so that you must confirm each move. Whether or not you resign is up to you, but, as seen in this game, blundering a piece does not mean the game is over at your level. Resorting to insults is completely unreasonable.
If you think of the bigger picture, this guy did not break any rules. But such kind of behavior falls under poor sportsmanship but the point is you can force anybody to behave in a good spirit.

Ultimately it is a game and everybody wants to win.

And whatever you are doing here by calling him dumb, etc etc is not a good sportsmanship in its own right.
Not everyone wants to give you a takeback, especially not in rated games... Not granting a takeback is not rude, its perfectly fine and there's an option to disable takebacks alltogether for exactly that reason. Clicking (fast and) correctly is an essential part of online chess and if you slip that's bad luck. When your position has turned hopeless you might consider resigning, but in cases like these just play on and see if your opponent blunders as well.
Move confirmation is a good option indeed.
You played too fast: 25+0 time control and 20 useless minutes left at the end of the game i.e. played as if it were 5+0. The few seconds misclick/blunder check for move confirmation are well spent.
