Rating points from nowhere!

The last time Catask played crazyhouse he reached a rating of 2753 points. Now he somehow has a rating of 2782 without having played any more games!

Am I reading something wrong or lichess decided he was underrated?!
It might be he had some points refunded if he played someone who was later found to be cheating
You are right @BaronVonChickenpants! That must be the case! Indeed his last opponent has been marked as a cheater! Thank you!

Still it's kinda weird. Before he played the cheater he had a reading of 2761. After lichess refunded him he ended up with 20 points more without having played any other player in between. That's like awarding someone for facing a cheater!
Actually it seems that this is a method for artificially increasing one's rating!
I know a rather extreme example of this: @luka1950
This player was rated around 2600 for a long time. Then he played a cheater and lost quite a few rating points, but he played more games afterwards and got up to his normal rating. Once he'd got back there, his earlier opponent was banned and he was refunded nearly 200 rating points, suddenly giving him 2800. He stopped playing ever since.
This is strange, because the FAQ tell us: "The refund is capped based on your peak rating and your rating progress after the game.
(For example, if your rating greatly increased after those games, you might get no refund or only a partial refund.) A refund will never exceed 150 points."

how can you play more than 10,000 games and still have a provisional rating????????
