There is this chess-like game called Game of the Amazons. I love chess, but I discovered this game from a Numberphile video and its incredibly addictive. The aim of the game is to get more space than your opponents, and all four of your pieces are queens. Your queen moves, and then it shoots an 'arrow' than lands anywhere that your queen could have gone if it had one more move. If you survive longer than your opponent by collecting more territory, then you win.
I am wondering if anyone else has played this game, and, for those that have, what do you think about it? It's relatively unknown, but I suspect that most chess players would like it.
