My clock keeps ticking LONG after I make my move

My clock keeps ticking long after I make my move... I check the ping to the server and it is 167 ms. So why does this keep happening?

You might notice that when it switches over to the opponent's clock, time is added back to your clock to account for any you may think you've lost. It is highly unlikely that lichess.org has any problems and it appears you have a good connection so there is more than likely no issue at all. Next game, check and see if any of your time is given back to you. If yes, then that is just lag compensation doing what it's supposed to do.

time is not given back in fact.... I checked before I posted this. I am not the only one having this problem

I'll never play another rated game here since this problem persists and no one seems to care
