Liked Old Zen Mode Better

To me it was better when you could mouse over and see chat, player, and time control etc.

I feel the same. Sometimes I want to say "hi" before the start of the match. And of most concern is the big blue button, it is distracting.

I wonder: can anyone userstyle/userscript to restore part(s)/whole of the previous Zen Mode?

Also not the biggest fan of big Zen button.

I preferred the old mode.
I've now turned it off and haven't turned it back on.
Scrolling over the chat box, in the old version, was the perfect compromise.

You can still hover over the chat box to chat...

Hmmm...I was certain that I turned it off for that reason...maybe it was just that big annoying red button?

I agree. For one thing, I could replay over the game while it's still in progress (I sometimes get distracted and don't know what move my opponent played).
