False "404 not found" when logging in?

Often when during log in I get something saying it's a 404 error and that wants me to play some other chess. It doesn't seem to be a real 404 page not found error message but more like an advertisment.

It's really confusing for my senior dad when he logs in to his account. I don't want him to click on that whatever bogus chess site is that might be loaded with malware.

@AOOP9_2 I do not search anything for some page that doesn't exist at lichess. I login and directly after I often get that 404 page as you describe.

Still I think it shouldn't point at another chess site to confuse people.

Same for me too. Opening a bookmark when not logged in, when I log in from there, the login is successful, but Lichess comes back with a 404 from lichess.org/push/subscribe. I cannot say though whether it happens every time.

@kleineme yes that's the one, and I think it's that link lichess quite often redirects me to when I login.
