London + h4

Today several of my opponents are playing London system with h2h4 (Not the GM Hebden line with Nc3 and h2h4), much more than I came across before. Where is this popularity coming from ? Did I miss watching a chess master video or stream or blog post about this ?
Looks like a GM Simon Williams move.
GM Williams has a youtube channel and twitch account, and is entertaining when streaming. He advocates for the London System (I believe he has made at least one book and DVD about it), though I don't think he recommends 7.h4 in the position you listed.

The other thing that made me think GM Williams is that his answer to people fianchettoing kingside is always to "throw harry the h-pawn up the board".

@physicist1993 mentioned in his latest video that he's been seeing the Dutch Defense more often, which is also a staple of GM William's repertoire.

It might all be coincidence, but there's a chance these things might be explained away because Simon's popularity is growing.
h2h4 -> h5 charge has been popular in blitz for a long time.

Early h2h4 is more dubious in standard games perhaps`?
