@RangerGeek50 who cares about videos man, we're here to play chess, not watch tutorials. If I wanted to do that, I'd watch YouTube clips of chess nerds discussing famous chess games or something. That's not the reason why chesscom has a monthly subscription fee (and a hefty one at that). The reason is because chesscom is a for-profit business, which is why chesscom's software is proprietary closed source. It's not that I can't afford paying for their subscription, but I donate to Lichess instead because I believe in open source software. Lichess is a far superior chess website because Lichess is non-profit and open source. Only reason why chesscom is the biggest chess website is thanks to its domain; that's the only thing it has going for it. Other than that, Lichess is a far superior chess experience.
