Almost losing to BOT BadModo

Here's the closest I got to getting checkmated by BadModo:

First, I tried to capture all of the enemy officers. Then, I got the king into a position where it couldn't move, forcing the pawns to move forward and promote. I then sacked all of my pieces, leaving only the king. Sadly, I got careless and the game ended with perpetual check.

Is there any way to actually lose to the bot? (besides resigning and time, of course)

The general technique of losing to such a bot is forcing to give them only one move, which checkmates you, for example (not my game): lichess.org/0c3RDqeN
Yes it is possible to force checkmate. One strategy is too keep most pieces on the board, and form a complicated position with a mating net around your king. Then find a way to force the mating move, usually with a check.

For more examples of successful forced selfmates, observe my bookmarks tab: lichess.org/@/BadfishChess/bookmark
you have to make it so ur king can't move, and you "checkmate" their kind except that they can take with a piece that mates u. when you "checkmate" badmodo, it has to be the king guarding the piece, otherwise it doesn't work
