Any player can play vs any opponent with any rating. The math approach is not the player's part.

In order to suggest anything to implement or adjust, it's logical to post in lichess forum (lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback) or in lichess discord chess room #support channel.
Also lichess public forum is probably not the best place to use the term in the previous post, unless the picture is absolutely clear.
As for the main topic in the post #19, it is great that it has already been discussed and that the decision was to keep the current - already perfect - gameplay.
