Buttons for quick greeting messages in the lichess app

Hi everyone,
wouldn't it be nice to have buttons for greetings in the app? (Good luck, have fun..)

I mostly play bullet with the app and hardly ever take the time to write anything. A simple "good luck", "have fun", or some kind of handshake icon would make the whole experience more human, so to speak.
How is sending a generic, automated text “more human” exactly?

Sounds like the exact opposite of a thoughtful, meaningful exchange, so what is the point? Sending the same thoughtless message to everybody makes it meaningless.
I disagree. Just as much as giving everyone the same "thoughtless and generic" handshake or hug, is not meaningless.
Well here's what happens sometimes: I get matched with a new opponent, he'll greet me with a quick Hello, good luck. (using buttons since he's playing on a computer.) I think it's a nice gesture so I want to respond, but if I want to do it on my tablet I have to go in the chat and type it. In this day and age of 1-minute chess games, those 5-8 seconds will seem like a huge amount of time, especially if I have white and he's waiting for me to play.
Same thing at the end of the game: Sometimes the opponent sends me "well played, good game", then maybe wait 3-4 seconds and leave. If I had the buttons I could return the gesture, but since I have to go in the chat (and for some reason, on my tablet I usyally have to touch the screen multiple times before the cursor appears in the chat), again this takes me 5-8 seconds and the opponent has left so I just don't bother.
Going off topic, I still don't understand why in the new version we now have the move list above the board, and the board is at the bottom of the screen. I'd much rather have greeting buttons, no move list, and the board centered!
