How To Beat The French Defense

Black can defend the c5 pawn with b6, and play Qd7, Ba6 where White's attacking bishop will get traded off and Black will be doing fine. If the bishop leaves the f1-a6 diagonal, White will have problems castling.
After 3. e5, Black doesn't have to play c5 immediately, he can simply continue with the move b6, where your move b4 isn't good now since the bishop will recapture, and black will be able to challenge the center with c5 anyway.
sounds like your screaming at me... i have a lot of french games under my belt as white and i like the barry milner system... not great but you either get outplayed or win, or draw... also knowing when to take that c pawn is still a question i have in my mind, sometimes you do and sometimes you don't..
You can always write two books from database of French games, where 1. black loss and 2. white loss.

1. How to beat French from horrible black players' games

2. How to win with French from horrible white players' games.

If French is a forced loss, I wanna see OP showing winnable position against Stockfish 12 developmental version ( opening phase up to move 20, where SF play from 1... e6 position)
For all the "destroy the **** opening" videos, the opposition always plays an inferior move which allows for a crushing game. If these videos were correct, all the GMs would play nothing but these lines.

It is the way how people do click bait videos, and how people sell books, CD etc to beginners. >90% of them are like that.

There is no " how to win" in chess unless your opponent ( including top rated engines) blunders. :)
@MrPushwood GM Simon Williams recommends this opening, stop being such a bigshot.
Btw, everyone knows that you are fake, and that you are not really an NM.
