In those engines times people would mock Tal because he blunders everything. He collects all the ?? moves and would be despised as the lucky tournament clown. He would never ever become an idol nowadays. And of course he would fail misreably, chess has reached heights which noone has thought of earlier.
Please don't bring him back, let him "live" as chess magician in the pre-engine era.
