How to search for bots

Thanks @Toadofsky !!!

(But, that doesn't provide an absolute list of registered "bot" accounts, only active games. -- Any way we could get an absolute list of "bot" registered accounts?)

Hey, @Toadofsky

If we can get an "absolute list" of registered Bot accounts, would it also be possible to see a list of the variants they play? (i.e. I'm a mostly a ZH player, and, it would be cool to see a list of ZH bots online at any given time, versus playing the computer -- which is just a bot, so to speak. In any case: Is there a reasonable way, programatically, for a bot to communicate back to the server what variants it is scheduled or available to play? Might be a bit much to ask, but, if additional refinement/features are in the works, maybe something to look into?)
i dont understand what you all mean by BOT
is it fully aN artificial intelligence or is there someone making the moves for the BOT??
A "bot" is an account liked to a computer; a computational engine.

For example:

Leela (Neural Network),
Stockfish (Engine),
Badfish (Engine),
PyChess (Engine)

Pretty much anything using either the UCI or CECP to do automated communication of moves back and forth between a computational engine and another player (be it a human, or another engine). A "bot" is an "automated" resource response (not a human).

However, a human has to setup a "bot" (and host it), versus the always-on "computer" you can play against on any given website.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Note that, if you see a "bot" posting "human" type responses in forums, it's probably the human overlord using the bot's account.

Generally speaking, a human playing games as a "bot" (using the dedicated "bot" account) would quite possibly desegregate performance and would summarily constitute "cheating," so to speak. (These are) Not two things you want to mix, but, looks like you can log-in as your bot account for management and manage it thereabouts (such as making forum posts, etc).

Note: I don't know all of the details or semantics since I haven't yet done it myself. There's talk of tutorials on the way, and, if I get my own running, I'll contribute to such efforts (for no other reason that to show and tell and explain the differences, management, how it's done, etc....)
