lichess active enough for me. performance unprecedented for a chess site too.
love these 960 tournaments. the opportunity to watch the best play in the world attack 960 positions against strong titled players, 3+2 time control, for a few hours, it's really incredible content. i don't pay lichess and don't care about the perks they offer for money, but might pay the joining price just to express support / gratitude.
960 is how chess is meant to be played. No more looking for small improvements on move 18 or 20 deep in theory. Talent vs Talent again, not prep vs prep.
Chess960 means: both players try to get "normal" positions as soon as possible. So what's all the fuzz about it? Some like it, the haydays (whenever this was) are gone.

Love these 960 Arenas! I ve been enjoying playing and watching them a lot. As a player who almost exclusively plays 960 on Lichess, 960 Titled Arenas are for me certainly the highlight of Lichess Tourneys.
I was thinking about, how it would be if the top 3 or the first among Non-Titled players in the Titled Warm Up Arena get an exceptional qualification rights for the Titled Arena. In my opinion, such possibility to qualify for Titled Arena as a Non-Titled player would be very exciting and fire up the competitive spirit, since it would give hope to many players. I think it would attract much more people competing in Warm Up Arena and would also be a good marketing strategy. I ve also seen people in the chats who were supporting this idea.
I hope Lichess community and Lichess will consider my suggestion seriously and i would be extremely happy to get a feedback in any case, whatever the decision is. Thank you in advance!
