Black Lives Matter

Violence against black people are not a political issue, its social problem. The response to this post just proves that we need more actions like this. All lifes will matter when we start to treat everyone equally, which it's not the case in the world currently, for now, white lives has a higher social value than the black lives, and we can see for the violence that is directed to the black people.
@Cynosure
I didn't notice previous announcements. My bad I guess?

You are again putting words into my mouth. If that makes you happy... :)
I will just say disappointing you believe racial equality is the issue.
@Klappaschlang Pointing out someone's skin colour isn't inherently racist. Racism is the notion that one race is superior to another and deserves to be treated better than others.
All lives matter. Black lives are a part of "all lives". Therefore, black lives matter.
@nowyfolder then please put words into your own mouth. At the moment you are regretting a chess website whose product you were happy enough to financially support before because they've made a small blog post denouncing racial inequality. You are unhappy with this statement you perceive as political, and now regretting the financial support you made to the website.

Is that correct?
@Pashut
You are specifically singling out lichess/thibault and demanding that you he explains why he chose to get involved with this specific topic and not others? How is this not selfish? So he has to justify everything to just you!? Why does not matter... Why do you believe in God? Why are you Muslim? Why do you like men? Do we have to justify every thing that we do or believe in?
@Lonerdruid The problem with police violence is much bigger in the US than in other countries. I live in Germany and here the police is much more focused on deescalating situations. But in the US police training literally teaches the officers a mentality that they can be the one who stops the next 9/11. This leads to officers not looking for deescalation but for the quickest possible way to neutralize who or what they perceive as a threat.
I'm very happy that Lichess actively takes part on this human rights matter, even at the cost of running under scrutiny of those that think that this is somehow a "political" matter, as if politics isn't part of one's life decision choices. One more reason to be proud to be a patron, I'd rather play on a site that has human integrity. Well done.
@ruzgar9543
The point people are trying to make by saying #BlackLivesMatter instead of #AllLivesMatter is that you are singling out one color... Almost implying that this one color matters more... and that is not what your trying to say? But this is how a lot of people perceive when they see a single color being singled out. Hence the issue a lot of people have with this.
