I really did think he was going to finish dead last...
He got back into it the last day. He ended 5th in blitz and in the combined standings he is before Anand, who is younger. If he plays some more, he can probably win tournaments again.
Kasparov is rusty. But he shouldn't be underestimated.
Once he gets back into the groove, I think he will be extremely dangerous.
Has he (Kasparov) said where he's going with this comeback run? Is he going to play classical or just blitz and rapid?
I am really looking forward to seeing more of him and more of him getting back into the professional mindset :)
