Swiss chess tournament on lichess

We have tried doing it "manually". I put up a videostream and used our local software to set up the tournament. The players challenged each other. It kinda worked. But it was very cumbersome, and a automated solution would be very welcome.

Our club is now together here in Lichess, but when we organize tournaments in small groups - around 20-30 people - it is not so fun to play the same opponent 4 times in a row. We can also see that number 1,2 and 3 in the end did not meet each other!

Please give us the possibility to also arrange swizz tournaments.

Yes, a choice between current tournament, swiss tournaments, robin, or double round robin would be great !

I can only endorse their wishes. I lead a team and it would be very helpful if Round Robin and Swiss could be organized here.

We face the same problem at the moment. We would like to organize our club blitz matches on lichess but the available option is not really suitable for 10-15 player events. Playing 7 times against the same person and not playing half of the field doesn't make much sense...
If the Swiss System could be reimplemented for custom tournament use it would help out a lot of clubs during the Coronavirus-crisis.

Yeah, will have to +1 the OPs suggestion, as well. My local club have the same issues.

However, I really don't like arguing for "missing options" on a free (as in free speech) and free (as in free beer) site. Please understand that I love Lichess more than my dearest friends and my cat put together...

Our chess club also would like to have the option of serious tournaments online. Arenas are fun, but strong players may end up with a low ranking after having got a streak of unlucky pairings.
