Phenomenon

What is causing the expansion of the universe?
No eqjugg, i think you are mistaken.
Toscani should be very proud of such a cosmic feat.
It wasn't exactly yo ass, now was it?
nah it was more of a physics reference (his/her ass would be "dark" and sort of "fat")

I didnt want to go into detail because I'm not that knowledgeable in astronomy (got a decent knowledge of the basics but yeah..) and it would take me too long (for my taste) to read up on all the relevant things.
E=mc²

Energy equals to mass multiplied by the speed of light squared.

Which came first: The energy, the mass or light?

It's a riddle like: Which came first the chicken or the egg?

I think energy created light and mass.

Potential energy is not moving, it's stored energy.

Kinetic energy is moving, so I would say it's expanding.

The way I understand it : Dark matter comes from Kinetic energy which comes from Potential energy.

So what created the potential energy? Could it be gravity ?

Could the phenomenon of gravity be causing the universe to expand ?
Dunno.
Would u consider yo ass to be grave?
Then I would say indeed.
Positive.
Nothing!
If you asked a scientist such a question he would laugh at you.
The Universe is just a solution of the Einstein field differential equations with a given set of boundary conditions (pressure and energy.)
So, if for some boundary conditions you get a Sphere like object, this is just what it is and remains unchanged forever.
Now if you are living on a circle in this sphere and time is just a latitude coordinate you might have the illusion that the circle is expanding as you are moving with time from the South Pole to the Equator.
But the Universe which is the Sphere itself remains unchanged.
So there Toscani.
Gittin yo ass kicked.
Fiel equation right there bro.
On da monaye.
