Writing this under a timeout

I know GitHub...

I was just saying...

Out of curiosity is this site open code???
Then why would you find it silly that the rules are on a different site? The entire lichess code is there. There is no better place to find the answer than in the source code.

The sites code is freely available yes. Here: github.com/ornicar/lila
I think it is silly that the rules are on another site, for that reason alone... A new user isn't born knowing this, you don't see the irony here???

In any event, this is good to know and despite appearances, I think lichess is doing the best they can, and I like it...
It's the source code not a rulebook. But the rules needs to be coded which is why they are in the code. Nothing odd about that at all.

I played a otb wher my opponet had 60 min. After he made his move he had 20 min?
I think in the specific situation that occurred in your game it is at least somewhat defensible to let your time run out thinking and not expect a penalty/timeout. However, I think this type of situation where you are dead lost but you could conceivably play on and can't find a move within the time remaining is extremely rare; I for one have played thousands of games here and not ever received a similar timeout. Personally, I would rather have some minor accidental timeout penalties than allow people to do this all the time without any penalties.
Stop argue with OP plz.

When you let your clock run down or when you abort a game, you get a warning.

So if he has been banned, he certainly did this over and over again.

The guy is just mad because he get punished for his bad behaviour, so there is no need to give him any credit.

Like a child, let him cry alone in his bedroom and then he will come back with à fresh mind.
I was banned for 19 seconds, not enough time to cry, go to my room and sit in the corner, or think about my 37 second "limit <- unreasonableTime" sins. Sometimes a person just needs to see the bigger picture, like "there really exists actual adults on earth who can't wait to tell others they have 'bad behaviour'", or perhaps even write whole blocks of code with 10-yr.old boys in mind:

def sitMoving = for {
userId <- game.player(flaggerColor).userId
movetimes <- game moveTimes flaggerColor
lastMovetime <- movetimes.lastOption
limit <- unreasonableTime
if lastMovetime.toSeconds >= limit

Thank-you for helping me understand...apparently an intrusion into normal praxis helps everyone in the long run(?) It must be a burden on mods to explain how we have invented a race of robots to police ourselves. Think Klaatu.
