Alternative to Lichess?

Hi,

I'm addicted to chess, the new design on lichess is unbearable. The board is SO HUGE I cannot see everything on one sight unless sitting 3 meters away from my screen. Scrolling out on the board page does not help as the board size doesn't change. Can somebody recommend me an alternative site that is similar to Lichess where I can play until this nonsense gets sorted out here?

I thought you could resize the board from the bottom right drag

Hi, there's a way to resize the board by grabbing the lower right corner.
I agree it was better before, when things sized proportionally.

No drag for me?! Not sure what you're referring to.

It is only there before u make your first move.

Just tried Chess.com but apparently they are suffering the same problem, lol! Full screen chess board. That's also a bad idea because in blitz games it takes longer to move your mouse. Any other recommendations?

U don't accidentally resize your board while playing.

@hetatho click on your username, then « board geometry », then you can resize your board.

That is a new option. When the game starts, you can change board size, with your mouse white (H1) or black (a8). There are two tine little lines in the corner of the board, and you can make a board smaller or larger.
