Interesting results from Chess Insights

Lichess has so many amazing features! I was dinking around with the Chess Insights (where Lichess analyzes a bunch of things about your games to help determine tendencies in your play - really a lot of fun if you like graphs and statistics), and I noticed an odd tendency of mine:

When playing, in general, the less time I think about a move, the better a move usually is. This might also have to do with how poor of a job I do in the Tactics. I guess I really tend to overthink positions. I looked a little deeper, and the trend holds true in all three- the Opening, middlegame, and endgame.

I wondered if anybody else had similar results? Or something odd in their own chess insights they wanted to share.

Either way, Take care! (Much love)

Most people have this tendency. It's because we take a lot of time in difficult positions, and when the best move seems clear, we premove or take just a second to make it.
In the opening it seems obvious that you can play faster where you're still in theory and you will take more time when you get out of book.
Regarding middlegames and endgames, maybe you spend more time on a move when the position is more complicatated.
For instance sometimes you face great pressure. You may take time and not find the way to stop your opponent threat.
On the other hand, sometimes you feel you must have something winning, but you just can't find it, or you find it but fail to calculate it correctly.
Also forced moves can be played pretty fast in general (though you may miss intermediates moves once in a while).
First of all, i think this kind of statistic is quite useless when we talking about such things. What is 1-3s moves? First 10 and other safe'n'simple situations, like your everyday debut, when moves performing "semi-automaticly".
Long moves, is completly different situations, like pikes of attack, hard defence, pawn-race - when you must made hard, often "bloody" desigions.
It's about "centipawn loss to movetime" stat.
About the body i have nothing to say, honestly. I can't play blitz or bullet - too fast for my level now. In Classic, this pararmetr in my stats looks the same.
When tired, or not enough concentrated i tend to made long and poor moves. Just like everything I do IRL.
I'd take a minor piece back in a second, and it is technically the best move.
