When will Lichess finally make it possible to filter games by opening?

I think basically everyone who likes to analyse some of his recent games regarding a specific opening wants to filter his games just by this opening.
Why is it possible to filter by Date, Mode and stuff but not by the most important factor - the opening?

Huge barrier on an otherwise amazing site.
Because handling the delicate matter of transposition makes this very difficult? I'm sure that if it was easy to do then they would have done it.
That feature IS there. Just select Insights > by Opening.
That one must be difficult to do. For instance, every time someone captures a piece there is a material imbalance, even if it is immediately recaptured. Also, sometimes there are many zwischenzeugen (in-between moves) between a capture and a re-capture. How is a computer to know in which games there was a material imbalance?
This is by far the #1 feature I would like implemented here on lichess. The move-by-move opening explorer (where you can play out a line of moves and see the winning/drawing/losing percentages fluctuate with every move you choose is the ONLY feature of Chess.com that remains superior to lichess. IM Danny Rensch once said on stream that this method of training was so important for learning that they would make their opening explorer fully accessible for free (which obviously they never did).

It should be noted that the current opening insights lichess has are almost useless in comparison to the opening explorer, as the insights only lets you know the winning/drawing/losing percentage of ECO openings, which is just a fraction of the potential lines that could occur.

I know there is an external website that offers the "Chess.com" opening explorer for lichess games, but this requires importing games to keep it up to date, which is a nuisance.
Is it really that hard? I mean if not searching by opening, at least one could search by position. Than you can just enter the position of the opening and find all the games. Should really easily be possible.
