Board is very big

Here is an example how it looks on my Resolution (Same as Artian, 1360x768):

I use Chrome Beta Version 75.0.3770.18 (Official Build) beta (64-bit).

This layout with the board not allowing me to zoom further to hide scores below the board is happening across all web browsers. It is simply the design of the present V2.

I don't think there is a web browser or resolution that will let me zoom beyond that. I want the scores hidden.

While on the other hand the forum font size is huge! Who's ever experienced a forum with such giant fonts like that? Certainly not me!

Notice how everything inside is so hugely zoomed while the players online is so small to the right corner of the site 14,110 players 5,145 games in play.

The layout lacks professionalism. I can understand that this is a free website, but LiChess devs can do a lot better than that! If the previous version has a better layout, this can be done in the same way.

Chess.com allowed you to return back to the old style before moving on to the new version. LiChess should've allowed this option and then take a survey from the players to ask us what we like or do not like about their new interface. Otherwise they are just going to potentially lose fans!

I can almost sense that the number of online players will drop after this. I can't see this site hitting over 30,000 players online after this change. I'll be very surprised!

Ok, i just see that for example the captcha also looks weird. Check this out @thibault:



This may be a bug in Chromes image interpolation algorithm.

This either means that Lichess should start to use precompiled images (omg omg, so terrible! – Wait, arent we also doing this with Scala?) or that someone complains to the chrome devs.

I have a problem as well, but with the mobile browser. First of all, the previous table? which was on the right side of the chess table is missing. Or better said, i have no idea how to find it. This is the most important thing for now.
The left side of the table, with the chat, is now under the middle part (under the table). Which is fine i guess. I was thinking that now it is no longer an orizontal alignment, but a vertical one. Scrolled down, still no right side thingy.
Another problem is: I have no slider to modify the size of the board at board geometry. Also don`t have the triangle at the lower left part of the table.
I will like to know if anyone else has such a problem. Thank you !

I recently registered, and already got a huge Board. The triangle in the lower right corner does not work. I read the forum administration is very proud of his achievement. So what are the system requirements? And anyway WHY WAS THIS DONE?

Я думаю, что никто ничего поправлять не будет. В целом это радует - просто решили отсеять слабых игроков, и я среди их числа. Спасибо! Кстати, попытался сыграть одну игру - но это невозможно - ничего не видно. И еще - если я не решу задачку - мое сообщение не пройдет - это очень демократично - ведь компьютеры не умеют решать задачки - идиотский юмор.
