did i crash stockfish analysis?

both my partner and i started analysis, and stockfish happily worked on endgame and middlegame, but then got stuck in the opening... reloads of screen, opening other screens, then returning, nothing has stopped the analysis at that point, and there is no analysis to be seen.

maybe your other moves were stockfish-perfect?

stockfish is a binary monster witch you shall not crash that easily.

sorry, had to ask. it took the better part of 4-5 minutes before the analysis was complete. i've never seen stockfish take more than 1-2 minutes, even for a long and complicated game.

@travelgirl Very likely the server that did your analysis crashed, had network issues or something like that, so after a timeout another server took over.

Stockfish only analyzes the first 100 moves

problem has returned once again, this time in 960 (lichess.org/KrUVTwKu/white). it has spent the better part of 20-30 minutes on the game, and resolved nothing.

to me, anyway.

i've tried restarting the analysis, closing the browser, etc, to no avail... is something going on behind the scenes, or am i singularly unlucky? :)
