Bishop pair endgame

One very tough endgame. 2 bishops vs. 2 knights. Those bishops are just monsters! My opponent made some mistakes, but I think I might have holded a draw against a human, even if there were no major mistakes.

No, I hated every moment. But so did my opponent too I think.

Besides, it should be theoretical draw if pawns are traded of, bishops can be sacrificed for two pawns and opponent is left with 2 knights.
yeah but i think that it isnt forced for the pawns to be exchanging
Yeah, maybe not. I might try giving stockfish vs. stockfish a go out of curiosity and see what happens.
I got some line where stockfish had 2 bishops vs. 2 knights and black was 2 pawns up. It was -4.5 or smth but it was unclear if black could ever push those pawns. I got bored since it was near 100 moves and calculating all moves up to 24 nodes was very boring.

So against humans, I think it's a draw if white knows what he is doing.
Lest you forget my epic endgame, otb tournament game played in 2006:

Btw, a 7-men tablebase win. ;)

One might try to oppose the mighty pair of bishops, but usually this fails miserably! :)

"7-men tablebase"

Needed to google this. Vast chess knowlege is improved once again.
