During the game lichess often hangs without any reason, clock stops for both white and black, and suddenly appears a message "your time is out" and opponent won a game. What a hell? I did a move and wait for opponent and then got a message that I lost....
how to avoid such a situation?
@Yezy I think it's because you have some connection problems.
It happens quite frequently to me too because the connection is lost when I make a move so that move is not recorded and when the connection returns the time already ran out.

I have no any connection problem. I checked lichess site availability when clock stopped - other links worked just fine - forum, profile, lobby etc.

I am also having trouble maintaining a connection. Lost like 150 rating points due to it.

Maybe problem can be that you use several tabs at a time and Lichess start to lag then?
