The 4 grade killers in (online) chess

Trouble is, the game is more addictive when I am losing. I scream at myself, keep playing game after game, and play faster and more carelessly, all due to my compulsion to win a game. Best plan would be to recognize I'm not in right frame of mind, take a break.
Odd, when I am on a good run (it happens now and again) it is a calm and almost unconscious activity.
Some reasons a standing could drop :

1. Losing against someone lower rated;
2. Drawing a winning game;
3. Accepting a draw, when your chess rating is higher than your opponent's chess rating; &
4. Pre-moving or Playing without looking at what the opponent has played or is planning to play on the next following moves.
"Trouble is, the game is more addictive when I am losing. "
That is also true for gambling. Gamblers tend to play more and for higher stakes when losing, thus losing even more.
Fight the addiction. Stop for analysis after a loss.
