Clon Lichess is legal?

I believe all the code is open source so it's available for others to use. I think someone make a 'draughts/checkers version if liChess also
This is a bizarre website. Yes lichess is open source, but this website actually more or less claims to *be* Lichess. It has Lichess' name all over their FAQ, which is simply copy-pasted from lichess.org. How strange.
It's a .ru website. The wild west when it comes to copyright observation. Good luck getting them to stop.
Mskchess is a special website for the official tournaments, organized by Moscow Chess Federation.
Lichess is open source, so it’s legal. I know, will be the question: why? Just because in such case they have their own moderators and may block a cheater account faster then it would be on lichess.org; these tournaments are very serious and not so popular so it’s quite easy to keep all players under control.
So, nobody needs FAQ :)
@Doofenshmirtz, haha, partially true but in this case everything is fine with copyright.
@MrScribbles, I don’t think many players looking for FAQ, and nobody means mskchess = lichess indeed. But if you think they must change the text of FAQ section, then, perhaps, I can contact msk-developers.
By the way, it’s quite difficult to find this FAQ, so I’m not sure msk-developers know where is it and what is it :)
@VelociraptorRex Just because something is open source doesn't mean you can install it and claim to be lichess. What if they start taking donations? They claim to require money for hosting it under "about mskchess". Misrepresent lichess? Possibly lichess is trademarked - if not it probably should be. Someone once tried selling a version of the lichess app on the Amazon store; that got taken down.
