> As a 1500 , to improve you need to understand the motif of your opening. Analyze all games and use the learn from mistakes option. You can read this book to improve as well archive.org/details/my-system-2020/page/16/mode/2up . You have to know your weakness and build up against it using engine. U don't really need to play too many games 2 games per day is sufficient and also don't lose them. Play 10 min rapid and do atleast 20 puzzels correctly everyday. Chess is a complex game. To break through your level you have to be patient. Donot tilt. You can watch Gothamchess's ten mistakes you should avoid and how to crush your opponent. That should help.

Thanks for the help
Never concentrate upon lichess ratings! They are just for fun, and even 2200 and 2300 rated players in lichess fail in OTB tournaments.
•I am a 1900 in bullet and 1700 in blitz, rapid but the past few OTB tournaments were pretty hard for me. Even once, I scored 2.5 points out of 9 rounds.
•During the pandemic lockdown, I fancied playing hyper and ultra a lot, and increased my rating and tournament points. Now I understand they are just for fun, not for reality. So now, my schedule in chess is to practice some puzzles in lichess and chess.com, play a few rapid 10+0 or 15+0 on lichess, and move on towards reading books like -- Jeremy Silman's Endgame Course, Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual and Some Domination and combinations.
• So just follow playing puzzles and play a lot of tournaments along with reading books based on endgame and game planning. Generally it helps a lot.
Thanks for reading!
A big tip which can help you improve at any level is ANALYISING YOUR GAMES!
Knowing where you went wrong is the first step in improving your game.
Hello, I am solving nowadays 100 chess puzzles a day on chess tempo. I am rated arround 2200 on lichess at the moment. I read 2 books in my entire chess carreer. I am sure that I became much better because of these books. I read my first book when I was a beginner. Here is my book: amzn.to/3KqkFZt.
I read my other book when I was already a good chess player. This book is more about calculation and tactic. The book helped imroving me a lot. Here is the lick of my book. This one is the best chessbook that I have ever seen. amzn.to/3qFL7GC
Im gonna say it, do tactics daily at least 30 min a day and ANALYZE games by the world champions
Focus on fondamentals to master them!!!

1) Opening principles

2) Material => endgame to convert a material advantage.

3) Time => how to handle the initiative and use it.

4) Quality of pieces => improve positional play by watching video or reading books and seeing GM games annotated

5) Your repertoire is important but just focus on filling holes and so on but do not spend to much time on it. For instance you can work for 2 or 3 months mainly on your repertoire then keep it for 1 or 2 years then step by step improve it.

6) In the middle game focus on puzzle and how to implement the puzzle mindset in your game with your thinking process.

7) analyze your game

Endgame is and will be more and more an important skill.

To recap: By studying more than playing

When playing play long time control.

My list is not in the order of importance to me every aspect is important and when you master these keys points you can even climb higher than 2200 + on lichess

It's hard? Every 100 points in rating you try to gain is proportionately harder than the last 100. What you probably need to do is take a serious look at your games and evaluate your weaknesses. If you're tactically pretty sharp, maybe puzzles isn't the best place to focus your time. Maybe you need to work on endgames, or openings, or something. Find the weakest part in your play and make that better.

Slower time controls are always going to be better. Rapid or classical time controls should be your focus. Your bullet/blitz ratings will go up on their own as your slow time control ratings improve.
