In Crazyhouse, if I click on a castling move in the opening explorer, a captured rook briefly lights up. This doesn't happen if the castling move is played by moving the king.
For instance:
1. e4 e5
2. ♘f3 ♞c6
3. ♗c4 d6
Now O-O is the top move in the opening explorer, and clicking on it briefly makes a captured white rook light up, as if a white rook had been captured.
I just tried this out on the latest Firefox and Chrome and could not reproduce it in either browser.
You say a captured rook lights up -- do you have a short video of your screen when this happens? Perhaps I'm doing something slightly different that does not make the bug appear, with a video I can try to reproduce exactly what happens to you.
Thanks for looking into this!
Here's a video:
drive.google.com/file/d/1rdP1aL--PBHobi2w7luKn28fnjbu73-E/view?usp=sharingMouse clicks are marked with circles. I clicked on the castling move in the opening explorer, then pressed the back cursor key to take back the move and then clicked the castling move again. At the bottom right, you can see the captured white rook icon light up briefly each time the castling move is executed. I did this in Firefox 63.0.3 under Mac OS 10.13.6.
Ohh yes, I see it now. My eyes were too focused on the board itself, I was thinking you meant that some sort of "ghost piece" appeared somewhere. But I see this too. Thanks for the report!
